The National Human Rights Commission is established to promote and protect the human rights of the people in this country.
The NHRC is in conformity with the Paris principles adopted at the first International workshop on National Institutions for the promotion and protection of Human rights held in Paris in October, 1991.
That whenever an infringement of Human Rights has taken place, a complaint reporting the same can be lodged before the National Human Rights Commission as well as the State Human Rights Commission.
